Tube Pump Principle

PT Kawa Machine Industry Co., Ltd.

< Tube Pump Principle >

Two of pushing rollers move and roll by following special rubber tube, and are compellingly restored by tube restoration power and guide roller existing at both sides, thereby generating a strong vacuum power that can suck any solutions and direct the solution to the pushing rollers.

(1) It can change the inner tube for any direction by using the nipple lever.

(2) The tube pressure is based on the pressure of pushing rollers.

By the pressure, diameter of the tube enlarges, along with the enlarged parts, it causes changes such as tube thickness decreases etc., thereby channeling/bringing the tube pressure according to types of pressure.

The roller’s shaft is in the form of crank thereby being easily adjustable.

 < General >

As our experience that tube resistance can change depend on the time of working and pressuring speed.

The strength of the pressure, tube will be absolutely exist, the internal parts of the tube will come out. This phenomenon is caused by the strengthening layer (thread) fails to expand while the rubber is expanding, the thread and layer will be peeled off and therefore the tube resistance will be shorter.

Table of Rubber Character       Resistance to Oil: Chemicals

1)      (NR) Natural rubber is raw material of goods (Smoked Sheet, Pale Crepe, Air Dried Sheet, etc)

It is structurally a polyisoprene made of latex liquid released from rubber trees (have resiliencies) cultured particularly in South East Asia. Foam rubber, gloves, and adhesives, etcetera are made of latex as a basic liquid, but solidified part of latex rubber is usually use as raw gum. NR has many special characters such as easy processing, elastic pulling power, friction resistant, cold resistant, small heat upon activation, etc. That’s why it is mostly applied. However, it is less resistant to heat, oil, weather and ozone. Besides for general industrial products purpose, it is also used for any products that particularly require strong resistance to friction, such as vibration preventing rubber products, large size tires, et cetera.

2)      NBR (nitrile gum) is raw material of goods (Hiker [Nihon Zeon]. JBR, Crinack, Perbunan, etc).

It is a gum with special characters and resistant to oil being a combination of Acryl-Nitrile and Butadiene. Acryl-nitrile ranging from 15 to 45, there are gum that has little, medium and high amount of nitrile and the high amount of nitrile is good in oil resistance but bad in elasticity and cold hardiness. NBR has a good resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbon but has no resistance to aromatic group solutions, such as Toluene and Benzene, Ketone and Ester. It is also less resistant to ozone and repulsive elastic character. Generally it is usually used as industrial rubber that needed oil resistance.

NBR is mostly used for industrial purpose that requires resistance to oil.

3)      Non-Toxic Rubber. :   The rubber used for foods adjusted to Decree of Minister of Health No 85.

Specification of Multipurpose Tube Pump

New Technology For The World

PT Kawa Machine Industry Co., Ltd.

Head Office, Osaka – Tokyo

On this occasion, we have successfully developed multipurpose tube pump s that can absorb & deliver any materials which are fluid in nature, and can be applied widely & already have a good evaluation from industrial world.

Mostly suitable for fluid which is difficult to remove

1.     Tube Pump: It`smostly suitable for removing solid materials, soft materials, mixed solutions, gas, liquid with high viscosity.

2.     Friction resistant: The resistance of the pump is 20 times bigger than general pump.

3.     Solid materials: It could deliver any materials which the size is 1/3 of tube diameter.

4.     Soft materials: For orange seeds, or raw shrimps, it can be removed without anydamage.

5.     Fibrous materials: For any long materials, it can be delivered without being twist up, and absolutely has no valve.

6.     High viscosity: The viscosity until 10,000 cp is also ok. The maximum viscosity real result is 52,000 cp.

7.     Rotation & Non-friction faces: Stirring transportation without foam occurred.

8.     Easy to maintain: Changing tube just in 3 minutes, recovery of capability is 100%.

9.     Empty running is also ok: The structure is very simple, no part scrapes to each others.

10.   No liquid leaks: Liquid flow only passes through the tube; no valve; part of seal exist, etc.

11.   Rinsing pipe, internal part of pump: with one sponge, 1 minute is okay.

(1)   Our company’s tube pumps are the most suitable for any materials that cannot be removed by general pumps (water, mud pumps, etc).

(2)   General pumps have problems such as materials they cannot be removed, the machine becomes clogged up, cannot suck, friction occurs quickly, changes of many components make it expensive, repair & maintenance costs are very high.

(3)   Tube Pumps superiorities are absence of mechanic maintenance cost, tube can be changed simply and capability of the machine will be completely recovered. Tube maintenance costs less and similar to general pump packing cost s.

(4)   Components can be checked and replaced from window.

(5)   Tube pressure power (pressure control) can be made simply from window.

(6)    As the pumps are those with quantity system, total pump rotation x (times) volume of 1 rotation.

(1)       Running time and number of rotation

If the operation takes place 0–2 hours/day, please use 55 rpm or less

If the operation takes place 2–8 hours/day, please use 40 rpm or less

If the operation takes place 8–24 hours/day, please use 30 rpm or less

(2)       Releasing pressure and number of rotation

If 0 – 15 Kg/cm2, please use 0 – 35 rpm or less

If 15 – 25 Kg/cm2, please use 0 – 30 rpm or less

(3)       Temperature and number of rotation

If  0 – 50 □  please use 0 – 50 rpm or less

If 50 – 80 □  please use 0 – 30 rpm or less

Choose number of rotation which is mostly suitable from (1) (2) (3), and please setting the same below the number of rotation.

(8)       In industrial world, tube pump has 3 types of materials as classified as follows:

1)      Natural rubber (NR) with (N K) symbol …………General Industry

2)      Nitrile gum (NBR) with (BK) symbol ………… Oil Industry

3)      Gums for foods BFB (black gum)     NFW (white gum)
